Thomas Bauer (Institute of Hydraulic Engineering, TU Wien) carries out soil consolidation investigations in the HOAL catchment. On a defined spot close to the HOAL weather station he is making pictures from the soil surface on a regularly schedule which he is later analysing using the photogrammetric method he also applied at his other research projects.

The goal is to observe the soil consolidation over time due to precipitation on spots of three different soil managements.
